Our company successfully hosted the third China University crane creative competition

Creativity is boundless and brilliant.The third China University Crane Creative Competition with the theme of “Obstacle avoidance Crane” was successfully held in Taiyuan University of Science and Technology from August 25th to 26th, 2018.

China University Crane Creative Competition is one of the national series of professional competitions initiated by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education. Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Tongji University, five universities as the main sponsors, for the national postgraduates, undergraduates, junior college students to carry out scientific and technological innovation activities. The aim is to build a platform for young students to enhance their awareness of technological innovation, show their new strength of technological innovation and broaden their vision of technological innovation.

The competition was hosted by Taiyuan University of Science and Technology and the China Mechanical Engineering Society Logistics Engineering Branch and was exclusively sponsored by Henan KuangShan Crane Co., Ltd.

Yue Xiangbin, president of the company, attended the competition and delivered a speech. He briefly introduced the development course and future development plan of Henan KuangShan Crane Co., Ltd. He said that after 16 years of development, Henan KuangShan Crane Co., Ltd.has become a well-known domestic crane R&D and manufacturing enterprise. The company has a series of automatic robot production line, annual production of single and double beam crane nearly 70000 sets.

Unlike the previous China University Crane Creative Competition, the 3rd China University Crane Creative Competition of Mineral Resources Cup has greatly improved in terms of competition level, number of participants, and social attention. Experts from different fields such as educational institutions, industry associations, logistics engineering, lifting machinery and sponsoring companies, attended the event and witnessed the fierce competition among 78 entries from 23 universities, including Dalian University of Technology, Tongji University, Wuhan University of Technology and Southwest Jiaotong University.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Zhou Yun, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Logistics Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and Mr. Meng Wenjun, Vice-Chairman of the Logistics Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Director of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Logistics Equipment in Shanxi Province of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology and Vice-Chairman of Shanxi Energy College, has delivered a speech, reviewed the journey of the China University Crane Creative Competition, and explained the review of the competition, emphasizing the need to use cranes as the starting point, focusing on innovation, energy saving, green and environmental protection, novel, safe and intelligent application value.

Through this competition, the awareness of science and technology innovation of college students has been enhanced, and the ability of college students to carry out crane design and craft production for actual needs has been improved, and the horizon of scientific and technological innovation of college students has been broadened.
